Executive Chef Jason Stum, established a foundation in French Cuisine at the award-winning culinary school, L’ Academie de Cuisine, graduating with honors under the guidance of cooking professors Pascal and Francois Dionot. Jason first worked with Chef Damian Salvatore of Persimmon, a well respected 3 star restaurant in Bethesda Maryland, where he learned the styles of Modern American cuisine using bold flavors and creative ingredient combinations. The next step was working with Chef Luke Patterson at the four star hotel, La Valencia, in La Jolla California. After two years, Jason helped in the opening of 2941 in Falls Church, Virginia. Under the accomplished Chef Jonathan Krinn, 2941 was awarded by the Washingtonian magazine as the best new restaurant in Virginia. |
